Abstract
The design and operational characteristics of a multielement cathode, suitable for high-power electric discharge laser application is described. The compact structure utilizes a recirculating aqueous electrolyte for uniform current distribution, without the need for external resistive ballast. The simple and inexpensive geometry is suited for large-area scaling.
