Abstract
This paper proposes an efficient method inserting the cyclic prefix (CP) and the cyclic suffix (CS) with inter-block interference (IBI) elimination scheme for the block transmission and reception based Frequency Domain Equalization (FDE) in Faster-than-Nyquist (FTN) signaling. Furthermore we show that the proposed the CP/CS appending method can reduce the overhead of the transmission over the wireless channel. Finally, we accomplish the performance evaluations to verify to yield better BER performance as the length of CP/CS increases.
