Abstract
A faint object spectrograph is described suitable for use with a solid-state detector array. High resolution and low light loss are achieved over a wide spectral range using a cemented assembly of transmission grating, cross-dispersing prism and the corrector plate of a wide aperture camera. Constructional data and performance figures are given.
