Abstract
A novel and efficient approach to alkenyl nitriles from allylesters has been developed. A tandem Pd-catalyzed substitution andthe subsequent oxidative rearrangement are involved in this transformation.The method provides an important supplement for the synthesis ofalkenyl nitriles from allyl esters.
