Abstract

This paper presents a three dimensional hybrid model for predicting scattering fields from a key target in the large-scale environment. The Method of Moments (MoM) is used to compute the electromagnetic scattered waves from a target, and the bidirectional vector parabolic equation (PE) is used to consider the influence of complex factors such as topography, atmospheric duct, rain and fog, etc., on the scattering field in large-scale environment. The communication between the two algorithms is completed in the Target region. Through a typical example, the proposed hybrid method is verified by comparing it with the MoM, and the results are in good agreement.
