Abstract
In recent times, secret data are outsourced into the cloud to a great extent. But, for the security and privacy of the data, it is essential to encrypt the data. Since search using encrypted query is very difficult, hence, facilitating an encrypted data searching scheme is supreme prominence. Though many efficient encryption algorithms are utilised, still it has some issues like increased encryption, decryption and key-generation time. An effective secure data retrieval approach (HSBEE-CBC) is introduced in this work, to avoid these issues. Here, the data are encrypted using elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) algorithm. The encrypted data are clustered using cosine based clustering (CBC) and transferred to the server. For improving the security, trust is evaluated for the user who intends to retrieve the information. After evaluating the trust, the data is decrypted in order to retrieve it. The performance of the HSBEE-CBC is analysed and compared with traditional approaches.
