Abstract

Ahstract- The aim of this work is to study the direction-of-arrival estimation problem in hybrid antenna arrays. To this end, we recommend an effective preprocessing scheme with the aim to recover the received signal as if a conventional (non-hybrid) antenna array was employed. Simulation results are also presented that illustrate the performance of the proposed scheme when compared to conventional MUSIC algorithm and its hybrid version.
