The development of fishing industry in India largely depends on the provision of better facilities to fishermen. The skill of the individual fishermen and his intimate knowledge of fishing methods. Commercially exploitable area, best season, and the type of year to be used etc., are very essential for this hazardous Industry. The fishermen are working day and night carrying on an unending fight with nature.
