Abstract
An all solid-state automatic self-locking n.m.r. gaussmeter is described covering a magnetic field range of 2700-4000 G. The introduction of integral control reduces the static error and avoids the use of mechanical links. Sweep rates of up to 100 G s-1 can be followed. An automatic search-lock circuit is also provided. The instrument has been used in precise magnetic field calibration for e.s.r. experiments.
