Abstract
Abstract An improved electromagnetically-operated automatic pipet, specifically designed for taking aliquots, is described. It may be used singly or several may be mounted in parallel for multiple pipetting operations. Pipetting is 6 times faster with a six-unit pipet in battery arrangement than with the conventional manual method. Aliquots delivered are accurate and precise.
