Abstract
An automated system to measure delay line group delay and transfer function phase as a function of frequency is presented. Measurements are made at fixed phase increments using a cw signal and a feedback system to stabilize the frequency source at each measurement point. Operation of the system is explained, block diagrams are presented, and potential errors are discussed in detail.
