Abstract
A new medium consisting of autoclaved trypticase, liver fraction L, inorganic salts, and blood has been developed for the growth of T. cruzi. This medium also supports the growth of T. ranarum. It is suitable for routine cultivation of stock cultures of trypanosomes.
