Abstract

Therapeutic Hypothermia (TH) is a recognized treatment as part of the post-cardiac arrest management for comatose patients by the UK Resuscitation Council since 2005. The purpose of TH is to minimize secondary phase injury following reperfusion injuries to the brain.1–4
