Abstract

The immigration of Indian IT-specialists to Germany and the United States of America and their recent return to India provide insights into the context of migration flows and macroeconomic policies. The competitiveness of the home country is also determined by the policies in India when strengthening the growth of the IT-industry. However, in terms of migration theory Indian policy should attract staff by liberalising markets and the foreign trade sector as well as related politics.
