Abstract

Purpose Healthy siblings of children with chronic health conditions are at risk for emotional and behavioral problems and poor quality of life. Unmet needs and limited psychosocial support are common for these siblings. Improvement in our understanding of the educational needs of pediatric residents as they relate to meeting the needs of siblings will help to inform the development of curriculum that can ensure optimal psychosocial outcomes for siblings.
