Abstract

To assess the value of a commercially available haemagglutination test kit (Tox HA test) for the diagnosis of toxoplasmosis 373 ovine sera were tested using the dye test, an indirect haemagglutination test and the Tox HA test. The results indicated a good correlation between the two haemagglutination tests and it is suggested therefore that there is a place in the routine diagnostic veterinary laboratory for the commercial Tox HA test kit.
