Frederic Flamand est une figure importante de la danse contemporaine en Europe. Âge de 60 ans, belge, il cree en 1970 avec son frere « Le Theâtre Laboratoire Vicinal », l’un des premiers groupes experimentaux de theâtre dans le pays. Il monte de nombreux spectacles, d’abord avec des amis, et joue dans differents lieux alternatifs de Bruxelles. Il voyage dans le monde entier, en particulier aux Etats-unis.
