Abstract

One-dimensional array generators based on the fractional Talbot effect with a compression ratio of 4 that convert a plane wave into a regular array of equally intense plane waves are described. Some computer simulations for the light field distributions in image planes when these array generators are illuminated by a Gaussian beam have been fulfilled.
