Abstract

This paper addresses the stability analysis for time-varying systems with polytopic uncertainties. This kind of problems usually leads to a considerable amount of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which are sometimes difficult to solve from a computational point of view. In this paper a special way of polytope construction based on the Taylor series expansion is proposed in order to efficiently reduce the number of the necessary LMIs. The effectiveness of our skill is illustrated by an example.
