Abstract

The existing practices of software product development lack in addressing the issues of providing guidance to the software engineers and managers for structuring software development. To solve this problem the authors have proposed a new product development life cycle, 'comprehensive product development life cycle' (C-PDLC) which provides complete knowledge for software development about each phase along with the related artifacts, inter-dependency, entry and exit-criteria while considering the nature of large object and service-oriented application development softwares
