Abstract
AbstractThe V6 system is the newest product of Canada Phoenix Geophysics Limited in 2000. It is one of the most powerful instruments among the controlled source audio‐frequency magneto telluric (CSAMT) methods. We did the CSAMT exploration on 13 lines in an area (440×300)m2 of an iron mine with the system V6 in March 2001. The Karsts, faults, and the water bearing fracture belts in the upside limestone of the ore body are shown clearly in CSAMT profiles. The results are helpful documents for prevention of water bursting in this iron mine.
