Abstract

A maze consisting of 6 successive brightness discriminations was developed as a single-trial appetitive learning task for mice Error and latency measures indicated that significant learning occurred as a result of the single-exposure trial. The utility of this task for assessing treatments altering learning and memory processes was discussed.
