Abstract

The first few weeks of a modern physics course usually begin with special relativity. And with that beginning comes the question,“What experiments can our students try to help bring to life the theory they are studying?” A NaI (TI) detector with a multichannel analyzer, an amplifier, and a high-voltage power supply are the only equipment necessary for the first three weeks of experiments.
