Abstract
Abstract A new triterpenoid saponin, julibroside J 28 ( 1 ), was isolated from the stem bark of Albizia julibrissin Durazz (Leguminosae) by using chromatographic method. The structure of 1 was established by spectroscopic methods. 1 displayed significant antitumor activity in vitro against PC-3M-1E8, Bel-7402, and HeLa cancer cell lines at 10 μM assayed by SRB method.
