Abstract
We present a subset of the set of idempotent functions that is both a bisemilattice and a Birkhoff system under the join- and meet-convolution operations, and show this subset is a bounded distributive lattice under the convolution operations whether or not the domain lattice of the lattice functions is distributive. This answers the first open problem raised by De Miguel et al. (2018) [3].
