Abstract
Several authors '« u h a v e considered the analytical problem proposed in this paper: given, the time history of the forcing functions (from theory or test experience« ~) applied to the main landing gear in vertical and drag directions during landing of an airplane. Assuming the airplane elastic, describe the various accelerations of its components. The solution presented here contains new features, some or all of which have been neglected by others. These are:
