So the research question was, what are the symbols and motifs that the artist Esmat Dawestashy expressed about the Covid-19 pandemic in the field of painting? Therefore the researcher has reviewed the most important artistic features of the artist's work Esmat Dawestashy, and then analyze an anthology of the artist's works on the Covid19 pandemic through the critical theory of Howard Risatti, Which contains three basic stages of a descriptive analysis, then formal analysis and meaning analysis, In order to learn about the elements and motifs that the artist Esmat Dawestashy inspired to express the Covid-19 pandemic in the field of painting. A selection of the works of the artist Esmat Dawestashy has been analyzed since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in the world, and that was at the beginning of the year of 2020, AD.
