Abstract
AbstractRed Flag is one of the most successful training exercises in the history of the world. By simulating the realistic actual combat environment, it has made outstanding contributions to maintaining the air superiority of the U.S. military in the high-intensity and difficult military exercises, by testing weapons and equipment, studying tactical methods of operation, and tempering the technical, tactical and psychological quality of pilots. The paper introduces the basic overview of the Red Flag from the pespectives of exercises purpose, confrontation form, battlefield condition, information support and evaluation method.
