Abstract

From the site of La Tiza, fragmentary fabric specimens were recovered from contexts spanning the Preceramic through the Late Intermediate Period. Presented here is a summary of the analysis of a large sample of the total assemblage and a discussion of observed patterns. The bulk of the assemblage is comprised of specimens from the Middle Horizon and Late Intermediate Period and, thus, much of the discussion is focused on intra-site comparison of these two components, as well as looking at the differences between the domestic and funerary contexts of each component.
