Abstract

With the continuous development of China's reform and opening up, especially after China's accession to the WTO, the market is becoming more and more economic integration, which makes many foreign capital and multinational companies come to China for development. These enterprises urgently need compound applied talents of business English major. However, at present, the teaching methods of business English Majors in many colleges and universities are relatively traditional, focusing only on the Basic English language and business knowledge, without ideological and political education for students. Therefore, this paper investigates the current situation of Ideological and political education of business English Majors in the context of big data. This study mainly uses the methods of literature survey and practical investigation, through literature research and field research to understand the current situation of Ideological and political education of Application-oriented Undergraduate Business English major, and will get the data for analysis. It is found that only 10% of college students in our country are very familiar with ideological and political education, but most of them are very interested in Ideological and political education. Finally, combined with the current situation, put forward relevant suggestions.
