Abstract

This study analyzes the information content and resources available through the websites of the Small Business Administration (SBA) offices, Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs), and Senior Core of Retired Executives (SCORE) chapters across the United States. Hundreds of websites were examined showing a lack of consistency of content and design of information delivery across small business assistance websites. The duplicative and redundant information offered by the SBA and SBDCs is compared to the SCORE website that has a standard layout of content and design for their website and locations. The analysis reviews the differences in approaches these websites take toward the information and resources offered to the entrepreneurial and small business population.
