Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of determining the relationship between schools’ DNA profiles and organizational happiness according to teachers’ perceptions. The research sample consists of 404 teachers who work at primary or secondary public schools in Rize, Turkey. The research model is a correlational survey model. As a result of the research, the resilient organizations have the highest perception level among the school DNA profiles according to the perceptions of teachers. In addition, it has been found out that a positive relationship exists between healthy organizations and organizational happiness and a negative relationship exists between unhealthy organizations and organizational happiness. Finally, school DNA profiles significantly predict organizational happiness and explain 35% of the variation occurred in organizational happiness.
