Abstract
In recent years, the major Japanese railway stations have been rebuilt into building complex with deep underground and high-rise floors by the redevelopment projects. These projects probably raise the attractiveness of stations and increase the numbers of users, but on the other hand, it is expected that its complexity will make it hard for the users to get to their destinations. In this study, spaces to own such a configuration are defined as complicated multilayered space.
