Abstract
본 연구에서는 난독증 진단을 받은 자녀의 부모들을 대상으로 난독(증) 학생지원 조례에 대한 인식을 조사하여 조례의 실효성을 높이는 정책적 제언을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 난독(증) 학생지원에 대한 전반적 인식, 개별 조항의 적절성과 필요성에 관한 인식과 요구를 묻는 설문지를 개발하여 난독증 자녀의 부모 48명을 대상으로 설문을 시행하였다. 분석 결과, 연구에 참여한 부모들 중 60% 이상이 난독(증) 학생지원 조례에 대해 알고 있었지만 거주하는 시⋅도의 지원에 대한 전반적인 만족도 수준은 매우 낮았다. 당사자의 의견이 수렴되었는지, 학생지원의 내용이 적절했는지, 학생지원 사업계획 수립 및 집행과정이 투명했는지, 학생지원 사업들이 효과적이었는지를 묻는 질문에 대해서도 인식하고 있는 수준이 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 한편 서술형 문항을 통해 공교육 책무성, 난독(증) 학생지원 시스템 구축, 전문성 강화 등 내실화 마련의 중요성을 강조하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 이들을 위한 교육 지원 방향에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.This study was conducted to investigate the parents’ perceptions and needs on the ordinance by local government for students with dyslexia and drew policy suggestions to enhance the effectiveness of the ordinance. To this end, 48 parents of children with dyslexia were surveyed by developing a questionnaire asking for their overall perceptions on the ordinance by local government for students with dyslexia and their awareness and demands on the appropriateness and necessity of individual provisions. As results, the overall level of satisfaction with the support of the cities and provinces in which more than 60% of the parents who participated in the study were aware of the ordinances, but the overall level of satisfaction with the support of the resident cities and provinces was very low. It was also found to be very low on questions about the policy process (i.e., whether the opinions of the parties were collected, the contents of student support were adequate, the student support project planning and execution process were transparent, and the student support projects were effective). Meanwhile, through descriptive questions, the importance of preparing internal issues such as public education accountability, establishment of a system to support students with dyslexia, and enhancement of professionalism were emphasized. Based on the results of the study, suggestions for future research were provided with discussion on the direction of public education.
