Abstract

This study analyzes online library research guides covering wine research, enology, and viticulture in order to determine those resources librarians promote and recommend to users. The analysis, conducted in April 2022, includes the number and specific titles of databases, periodicals, books, websites, organizations and associations, and multimedia content found in the guides. Librarians involved in collection development can use these suggested resources when acquiring new materials. In addition, reference and instruction librarians can use the data to assist library users and recommend possible resources.
