Abstract
In the modern period, the politics, economy, culture and life of the Chinese society have undergone great changes, and there is a fierce collision between western thinking and traditional culture, and the intricate historical environment has profoundly influenced the development of modern Chinese architecture. In this paper, the new fourth army site in Nanchang, a modern excellent historical building, is selected to carry out field research and on-site mapping, and on this basis, relevant analyses are carried out, with a view to grasping the natural geographic environment and historical environment of the construction of the new fourth army site in Nanchang, and to understand its historical accumulation and architectural style, and in this process, deepen the knowledge and understanding of China’s modern architecture.
