INTRODUCTION

One can witness that mobile devices have become an inseparable part of everyday life, primarily owing to social networks and faster information flow. There are currently eight billion devices connected to the global network, and that number is bound to increase in the upcoming years [1] The possibilities of these devices were improved on a daily basis, as well as the data transfer rate. Since the battery of a mobile device is the main limiting factor to its lengthy use, software optimization methods are recommended for the purposes of increasing the autonomy of mobile devices By means of this analysis, the authors suggest various methods of designing modern mobile applications, whereby with the help of a high API level, significant improvements in reducing power consumption can be achieved [3]. The sixth chapter represents an experimental energy efficient solution to the transfer of serialised data from the server to a mobile device, based on the previously obtained mathematical model
