Abstract

Under the Belt and Road Initiative, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Guangdong have demonstrated significant potential and opportunities in cross-border e-commerce. However, these enterprises also face several challenges, such as an imperfect logistics system, severe market homogenization, and a mismatch in talent supply and demand. To address these issues, this paper proposes a set of countermeasures, including the development of a diversified logistics system, strengthening brand innovation, optimizing electronic payment systems, and cultivating professional talents. These measures aim to promote the healthy development of SMEs in cross-border e-commerce in Guangdong and enhance cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road.
