An Analysis of Content Organization & the ‘Family Life’ Domains in Practical Arts Teacher’s Guidebooks in Light of the 2011 Revised National Curriculum

Abstract

이 연구는 초등학교 실과 교사용 지도서‘가정생활’영역에 해당하는 6개 단원의 단원체제 및 내용을 비교 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 2011개정 교육과정에 의해 개발된 모든 검정 교사용 지도서의‘가정생활’영역 단원을 분석 대상으로 하였다. 구체적인 분석 내용은 교사용 지도서 단원의 체제, 교수·학습지도안, 보충자료 내용요소, 수행평가 내용과 지필평가 문항 수 이었다. 이들 각각에 대한 분석 결과에 대한 논의를 바탕으로 결론 및 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사용 지도서에 제시되어 있는 교수·학습 지도안의 유형은 강의법이 주를 이루고 있었다. 앞으로 개발될 지도서에서는 강의법 보다는 실과 교수·학습 방법과 밀접한 문제해결 교수·학습법, 프로젝트법, 실습법등이 많이제시되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 교사용 지도서에서 제공된 보충자료의 양과 내용의 수준은 교사가 교수·학습 중에 활용할 수 있기에 충분할 정도는 되어야 함에도 불구하고 분석 결과 다소 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 개발될 지도서는 교과서 내용과 관련된 풍부한 보충자료들이 제시될 필요성이 있다. 셋째, 교사용 지도서에서 제공된 수행평가 문항이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 개발될 교사용 지도서는 다양한 수행평가의 유형이 더 많이 제시될 필요가 있다. 넷째, 현행 실과지도서를 분석한 결과 지필평가문항 대부분이 이원목적분류에 의한 내용영역, 행동영역, 난이도에 관한 분류가 제시되어 있지 않았다. 이점은 평가의 기준과 근거 방법 측면에서 문제가 될 수 있으니 앞으로 개선할 필요가 있다.The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents of units on the ‘Family Life’ domains of practical arts teachers’ guidebooks according to 2011 revised national curriculum. Relevant literature was reviewed and previous related studies were analyzed. Six teacher’s guidebooks published in 2011 were analyzed. Analysis criteria include contents, time allocation, lesson plan, supplementary materials and assessment tools. 1. All six teacher‘s guidebooks were rather well designed and composed of former and detailed exposition. 2. Each guide-book contains similarities as well as differences. 3. The contents in 6 teacher’s guidebooks was mostly similar. But there was some suggestions to improve the convenience and usability of the teacher’s guidebooks The teachers’ guidebooks provide teachers with sufficient complementary materials and information to teach practical arts. Guidebooks under this study need to be reformed. More studies on the teacher’s guidebooks and developmental study for the model guidebooks is needed along with the revised curriculum and new textbooks.
