Abstract

GIS equipment has the characteristics of compact structure, small occupied space, stable performance, simple maintenance and not easy to be disturbed by the external environment. It has been widely used in power system. In this paper, a GIS equipment fault early warning found by the online monitoring system is analyzed, and the technical means such as ultra-high frequency, ultrasonic, analysis of SF <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">6</inf> gas composition and X-ray imaging are jointly applied to diagnose and locate, and the discharge defects are disassembled and confirmed. It is concluded that the loosening of the shield caused by the loosening of the screw leads to the failure. This paper analyzes the complete process of fault diagnosis and confirming the cause in detail, verifies the important role of the combination of multi technology joint diagnosis and on-line monitoring, and puts forward improvement measures for GIS equipment installation, operation and maintenance.
