Abstract

It is shown that the current-voltage characteristics of point microcontacts and of a low-voltage reflective discharge in a Penning cell are absolutely identical. A model of a coaxial capacitor is proposed for description of the current-voltage characteristic of a hollow-cathode reflective discharge.
