Abstract
Optics is a strong candidate in super fast information and data processing because of its high degree of inherent parallelism. There are several proposed all optical logic, arithmetic and data processing systems in the last few decades. All optical digital Multiplexer and De-multiplexer are also reported. Here in this paper we propose a new concept of all optical tree net work based, Quaternary triggered Multiplexer and De-multiplexer units to deal with a large number of inputs and outputs with the same triggering channels than that of its conventional counterpart. The simulated results are also shown here in support of its validity.
