Abstract
Wer steckt hinter der Aluminiummaske? Das erste durch eine Gruppe-4-Lewis-Säure stabilisierte Alkylidin (2; siehe Bild) entstand bei der unvollständigen Addition von Trimethylaluminium an eine {TiCtBu}-Einheit (1; PNP=[2-{P(CHMe2)2}-4-MeC6H3]2N−). Dagegen addiert sich B(OCH3)3 unter B-O-Bindungsspaltung vollständig an 1 zu einem ungewöhnlichen Alkyliden. Der Komplex 2, eine maskierte Alkylidintitanverbindung, öffnet auch den Pyridinring.
