Abstract
A general solution for the removal of hidden lines from a three-dimensional scene is presented. The presented algorithm can accurately construct the Junction lines ( J-lines) formed when objects penetrate each other. It allows the user to define an object as a line, a plane, a convex, or a concave polyhedron, which can include inner edges on any facet of an object ( i.e., holes inside an object). The Roberts algorithm is also discussed to provide a comparison between the CPU time and restrictions with the new algorithm.
