Abstract
Facial asymmetry is a common referral indication for craniofacial teams but has a wide range of causes. Prompt identification of etiology is critical to treatment, as medical and surgical interventions vary depending on the cause of asymmetry in each patient. A standardized diagnostic algorithm. We developed an algorithm to assist in the diagnostic evaluation of facial asymmetry with a focus on next steps for medically actionable causes.
