Abstract

In this paper, the problem of mixed H/sub 2//H/sub /spl infin// control with regional pole constraints is studied. The constraint region may be represented by several algebraic inequalities. Necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of the admissible solutions for this problem is found. The solution is obtained via solving an auxiliary problem. The optimal solution of the auxiliary problem will ensure that the closed-loop system satisfies the H/sub /spl infin// norm constraint and pole position constraints. One illustrative example is included to verify the presented approaches.
