An aircraft banking angle indicator (ExBAMDI)

Abstract

The paper discusses an aircraft banking angle indicator (ExBAMDI). The paper presents ExBAMDI Means-Plus Functions, elements that illustrate an artificial intelligent signal that alert the pilots of a critical banking angle position and guides the pilots to a safe banking angle attitude before losing control of an aircraft. It is the purpose of the paper to show a need to consider this type of avionics flight attitude indicator in today's general aviation aircraft. The (ExBAMDI) is an Excessive Banking Angle Monitor Direction Indicator, providing highly readable outputs that readily identify an excessive banking angle for improving the pilot's situational awareness in the cockpits. It aids the pilot's performance during steep banking and turning maneuvers that require the pilots to use power changes and flight control inputs for any flight procedures and configurations.
