Abstract

Aortic Stenosis (AS) causes abnormal aortic valve haemodynamics and changes in cardiac structure (“AS Phenotype”), is associated with high mortality, and has prompted calls for echocardiography report automation. We explored whether Artificial Intelligence (AI) could meet this need by automatically detecting the AS phenotype.
