Abstract

A monolithic infrared remote control sensor has been developed using a conventional bipolar process. It requires no external components, but nevertheless maintains the same qualities and performance as the existing hybrid type of infrared remote control sensor. The following issues are discussed: signal processing, the chip configuration, the noise characteristics of the sensor directivity gain and the plastic lens, and the alignment of the bandpass filter.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
