Abstract

This article attempts an additive cellular automata based random key generation using Luhn method which satisfies avalanche, confusion, and diffusion properties for public clouds. It is found that by combining additive cellular automata and Luhn mechanism, a robust master key in the public cloud could be generated. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has large key space and prevents the traditional attacks in addition to improves execution time for accessing cloud data in the cloud server database. The mathematical analysis confirmed that the proposed scheme result provides high security and integrity in the cloud.
